feeling a bit better but not great. my mac and i have been closest friends for years now, but lately our bond has become stronger than ever.
favourite pastime is discovering interesting things and people online; like evripidis and his music. evripidis is a greek guy who lives and works in barcelona. he makes music but also works as graphic designer. nice to have found him. his music cheers me up a lot.
last sunday was a very exciting day for me! i became godmother and i now have a goddaughter! i am so so happy. her name is maria and she is a very sweet baby – and i dare to say even though she is only one year old – with quite a personality. the greek orthodox christening procedure has a lot of theatrical elements, with lots of dos but i enjoyed it all. i had to “shower” the baby with olive oil and wish something good for her. i did wish for her to be healthy and lucky!
:: my friend and i have been travelling around greece. yesterday, we had a day in the park at my hometown. we spent our daytime doing sightseeing and late in the afternoon we had a picnic in the park with maria! we also watched shakespeare in lovecache which reminded me how much i like the elegant beauty of gwyneth paltrow!
i have a friend visiting me for a week and i‘m so happy that she is going to be around! i‘ve made a sightseeing plan for us; we are going to look around in athens for a bit and then visit an island. i‘m looking forward to it.
i ‘ve also started liking greek coffee again. there was a huge bubble on my froth today and a friend explained to me that the bubble symbolizes an eye looking at me! weird stuff!
