life the simple like

hello friends.

through the years i’ve come to appreciate simple life. which seems the hardest thing to have these days. when everything looks and is so complicated.

photos of a picnic with good friends from last march. looking forward to more relaxing and happy days.

it was about time to create a facebook page for aufrais. you can find it here and you can like it if you fancy it. it is open to all of you and you are welcome to join it. if you already have done it, thank you. i can’t wait to share good things with you.

sweet special is taking place this weekend at belle epoque. pasta flora with her yummy christmas cookies and cakes is going to be there. me, too, supporting her and sweet ivi.

time is up. thursday, i welcome you.

our dogs :: sausage

hello.

this is our farm dog sausage.

she has the most beautiful dog eyes.

she likes striking poses and she is my sister’s favourite.

a bit of selectism. and charlotte taylor prints. and supergrau design.

im off for my walk in the rain.

love.

him

i can’t live without sun. and today has been a very sunny and warm day. so, i feel better.

i also feel good cause i saw him. him is bebis, our puppy. bebis in greek means baby boy. it also means a male who is not interested in growing up. my sister gave him this name because as she says he refuses to grow up; unlike his peers.

he hates being put on a lead. he likes running free but he can’t go far as he is a sucker for affection and playing. i adore him for this.

he prefers ladies to gents to socialise with; this applies both to humans and animals.

his mum is a pretty dog lady and i believe when he grows up, he will become as pretty. however, this is not important for us cause we love him for what he is and what he gives us; peaceful, relaxing and affectionate moments.

bye!

more warmth

today has been a very good day. after successfully completing all my errands, i had a long walk around plaka where i had to meet my cousin.

on my way to our meeting point, i came across this so-me shop. everything was so beautifully curated and inviting that i had to buy something. i finally acquired a lovely so-paris tea towel, which was made in london! i call this the globalisation effect! {photos of the towel to come cause i am writing this post at my sister’s place}.

later on, meeting my cousin was so much fun. we had tentura at brettos where we talked and talked and talked about almost everything. i felt her warmth and compassion and i realise how nice it is to have honest and truly nice people around me, especially this time of my life.

i am also designing my new business card and i had a look around athens’ paper shop district.  i was finally treated to free card stock by a lovely guy with whom i shared my enthusiasm and some of my creative ideas! i am so grateful for this day!

photos from our farm, outside of agrinio. going there next week!

our cats, us and a carnation

i’ m still waiting for my internet to be connected and i am kindly offered a connection by some friends to use till i get mine. they guys from the internet company said it would take a month but it really takes longer and i’ m getting a bit frustrated here. anyway, i try to be patient.

our farm cats are getting big and pretty and everyday we wonder how they manage to keep clean even though they live in a small shed in the middle of our farm.

we also had our dear friend nefeli staying with us for a couple of days. we had so much fun preparing herbal teas, chatting by the fire and watching films.

it’s got really chilly and it makes the ideal weather to put my favourite wristworms on, handmade by sandra. i’ m loving them more and more every day.

my daily routine also includes walking and taking photos. a lady saw me taking a photo of her window and offered my a beautiful carnation. this carnation smelt like a real one; as carnations used to smell years ago.
