back to hometown for a week or more. a lot of work to be done. i’m also preparing for a very interesting project which i will be able to tell more about next week.
some photos above of the english countryside. i love the landscape in the south of england. the beautiful cottages, the homey pubs and the cosy tea rooms in the middle of nowhere. the picturesque villages, the easy going people and the gracious light.
so, pals, have a great weekend. i’ll be spending mine by the fire roasting chestnuts, brewing hot teas and preparing mulled wines for my family and good friends.
love.

morning people.
many thanks to those who came to support the doctors of the world and have coffee with us yesterday.
this time, the internet did its job fabulously and brought us together with some lovely people. and i can’t be more grateful for this.
there are some times, though, i don’t feel grateful at all. on the contrary, i can’t help but feel disappointed on myself and the others.
those are the times when the web brings us together with people we would never pursue to meet in real life. it grows hopeless and doomed to fail expectations. and sometimes, it just exposes the very worst of us.
i think from now on {and this is one of my new year~ongoing resolutions} i’m going to use the internet only to say and do nice things; even to not very nice people. i’m determined to send some positive web signals out there.
i need to make my life look and really be better. i need to play some nice roles.
wishing you all a wonderful week.

yesterday, friends and myself celebrated my two years in greece since moving back from london. we had a long stroll in monastiraki and big lunch in thissio.
sometimes people ask why i decided to move back to homeland. well, mainly and solely because of my people and warm weather.
however, i miss certain things from london;
the evergreen parks
markets; especially broadway and columbia flower market
charity and second hand shops
east london
burlesque and theme nights here
yummy cakes
ballroom dance afternoons here
jools holland show
delicious curry from curry garden and heaven made ratchada’s thai
of course, best friend tieu and my grumpy {but also very lovely} landlady marian.
enjoy the new week!

today no photo expedition for me, so i flicked through my photo album and i found some beautiful shots i took in kent years ago.
the photos are from lullingstone castle, one of my favourite destinations when i lived in london. the propriety includes the world garden of plants. photos to come in the following post. we met tom, the owner of the castle and the creator of the garden as well as his lovely granny. this is his blog where he talks about the plants he finds in his travels.
the renovation plan is progressing. we are viewing toilet and basin sets, tiles for the bathroom and kitchen isles.
i am also having my card printed this week. i got the best price quote here in Agrinio for offset printing and i am just hoping for the best result. i ‘ll let you know.
for the end, i have a secret to share; i am working on some cool online projects which i put on hold for years and i now have the chance to develop and finish. fingers crossed, i will accomplish them this time. wish me luck!

tidying up my photos has been a lot of work. i ‘ve discovered photos that i forgot i had taken. the above i took one day while window shopping in marylebone high street in london.
skandium has been my favourite place along with rococo chocolates.
i am also getting over my cold thanks to my mum’s special pampering and the homey food she has nourished me all the last days. today, for lunch, she made a wholesome goat broth with organic potatoes and carrots. my body – and soul – absorbed the broth’s goodness and i instantly felt better. i am grateful for her nourishing cooking and my dad providing the beautiful ingredients.
