i’m trying to change my sleeping pattern these days. as a result i’m suffering from tiredness and terrible headaches. also, bad temper.
i took a taxi the other day and the taxi driver was a sweet old guy who was very firm about not wanting to change his ways and become german. he was stressing that he would never give up going to kafeneio, having ouzo and meze with his friends. that he would never go to bed at 9 o’ clock. that we, young greeks, have become totally westernised {he sees it in his own children}.
that was a very funny and sweet encounter.

lately can’t stop thinking, writing and taking photos.
today has been a big day for me; 16 years of my academic and professional life have been archived and put on shelf, in the law section. it feels a bit funny to officially changing career. there is some melancholy for the years that have gone by and fear but also hope for the years coming ahead.
shopping around in order to upgrade my camera and lenses is another activity of mine these days. the guy in the camera shop took a photo of me and when i saw it i thought there was something of the emotions described above in my look. i photoshopped it just to give a vintagey feeling {and because i had a bad hair day}. no makeup at all even though i look like i have lipstick on.
so pals, hope you are all well and your day has been pleasantly strange.
