two nightingales and me

hello people.

i love this photo above not because of its artistic ~let’s say~ value ~if there is any~ but because of the person it pictures and what she gives me. thank you m+g for the wonderful times.

last night, i rediscovered mara djordjevic cd i brought with me years ago from belgrade, serbia. a true treasure. didn’t know what i was buying at that time. just wanted to get a souvenir of my visit.

last night, two nightingales sang all night. so did i.

yours.

snowhite :: two

i enjoyed so much taking these photos the other night.

i’m now writing these lines listening to the sound of raindrops on the balcony and surrounding rooftops.

i’m trying to accept and appreciate every season’s natural pattern; snow, cold and rain for winter, as it should be.

but, yet, can’t stop thinking of those people sleeping out, where the above are just hostile conditions and not sweet writing companions. what do these people think and how do they feel. and how should i feel.

what to wish for sometimes can be very confusing.

zenobie’s playlist here. i particularly love this one.

me.

hello.

i’m going to have a new baby, soon. a vintage yashica which i plan to spend lots of time with. my dear alexis, although busy with his music making, was kind enough to make all the necessary arrangements so i get my baby before christmas. thank you alex.

a note here: if my mum read or heard this would definitely comment with her usual sarcasm; cameras are not babies. get serious, find a man and make real ones. anyway.

thank you, people, for joining my facebook page. those you haven’t, do it only if you feel like it. you are mostly welcome to come to this blog directly or in any other way. thanks for being here and sharing moments with me. that’s the important bit.

last week, antony and myself had a lovely chat over martinis. we shared a lot of ideas and things that inspire us.

antony is going to be the dj for my aufrais page; once a week, he will be sharing his favourite music with us. can’t wait.

also, my love to joe and mayel and their unique idea, babelverse. i’m so proud of you, guys.

and to those of you who are sick in bed, get well soon.

love.

a bit of magic

i am not a football fan but it was great to hear that local football club joined the super league. i couldn’t but just think how happy my brother would have been with this news.

last night was cinema night. i watched the illusionist again. it’s always good to view this bittersweet nostalgic animation.

magicians don’t exist, however i find it quite hard to live without magic. any real magicians around?

a friend put together something nice to listen to.

have a nice week!

rainy weekend :: one

hello! i had a fantastic weekend with good friends, lots of laughter and gallons of wine.

weather didn’t help much for outdoor activities but we had a great time indoors.

we had long talks by the fire about relationships {all sorts}, politics and breast milk ice cream.

we played the cards {i am a lousy player}, we listened to music and we smoked shisha {with vanilla flavoured tobacco}.

nothing can make me happier than having around me lovely people to talk, laugh, even cry; couldn’t stop telling my friends how happy i was to spend the weekend with them.

i am so grateful for their kindness, hospitality and warm hug.

happy new week, friends!
